Picking up the new bike tonight so going to be getting out a few evenings this week (weather permitting) to have a play.

Weds sounds good mate - Tom mentioned was meeting up with some people to ride then as well so we could gatecrash that.

Happy to do ur forks mate - let us know when you get the orings and ill make sure the shed is ready for some fork munting. Should be under an hour to sort them out as long as we don't find anything snapped or broken.

Not looking too hopeful that Tom will be out tomorrow, he might have to stay in and look after the dog and he might also be a bit unconvinced by the weather!

Went to pick up the meta and the first thing i see is the crack on the shock mount, the owner seemed genuinly shocked so dont think he knew, frame wasnt that old becase the old one broke on the seat tube (like they are well known for) but he had got a replacement a few months back.... well 2 hours wasted driving for me but it does mean that when he gets the new 2010 frame i get first dibs.

but, i have just sent my frame back to felt and the forks need to come apart so im bikeless...

Jon, got the seal, just need to pick up some 5w from somewhere.... Evans surprisingly didnt have any.... any ideas where local might?

halfords mate or any auto shop - its what they use in motorbike bike forks

Draaaaged myself out for a ride in the end - Epping was totally rideable - that greasy top layer kept the skills sharp and I had splattering of mud but nothing too bad. Will dry out in a couple days worth of warm weather. Bonus
