I went through the winter with a half orange on top of my shoulder, now it's just a little bump.

Dislocated my thumb while out riding, embarrassingly it was done while tightening the strap on my rucksack and not from a great accident.

Lol. Nice thread name. I know about that, could of titled it really hurts if i sneeze.. bust two ribs beginning of last year by going otb and landing on a football sized rock.. getting out of bed was the worst thing ever for about 3 months, then end of year nearly chopped my leg off with chainring, first general aneasthetic, stay in hospital, 20 stitches n 7 inch scar.. Last year was not a goodun, never really hurt myself before in years of riding then twice in one year.. Count myself lucky as could of been worse and right as rain now..

If u run a triple and use flats get a bashguard.. I've gone back to clips, and use a dbl n bash now..

^ seen mm should really get round to getting a bash guard.

Few weeks ago, I had a gnarly hardcore stack when my feet slipped from under me whilst walking across the carpark, later in the day binned it on a dirt jump. Told everyone was from the dj, later realised it was from the carpark fall. Therefore, lots of embarrassed retelling of the story over the next few days. Got a bruised and sore scapula (?). Kept me off the bike for a few days, and still get a bit of pain if jumps/drops dont go smoothly.

Yep gotta watch out for those smooth surfaces!!!...lol!

Whilst putting on my front wheel and doing up the axle, I span the the whee for some reason and lost the nail from my ring finger in the spinning disc! took the nail clean off. I wrapped the finger in toilet roll with a glove over the top and carried on with my ride.

cant find the photo anywhere but nail has since grown back normally.

General battering and bruising along with a broken middle finger from Warley today.

Today after finally doing the smaller ladder drop at chicksands, i hit the preceding jump at full speed, over shot it by loads with front wheel right up in the air, landed doing a huge wheelie and then let go of the bike letting my back protector do its job (it done it very well) and watching the bike carry on with no pilot doing a backflip. result- one rather bruised coxis that hurts when i try and up from a seated position and bent handlebars! photo on the way.
