Anyone else watch it, so glad Gee won, he's looking like a very good early bet for the overall title this year, although I think Minnar, Hart, Mcdonald and various others are within a shout as well. Sick Mick and Sam Hill are looking back to form as well....

Yeh thought it was a wicked start for the G man. was a bit dissapointed with gwins run and thought danny would of at least podiumed! cant wait for next week!

Danny Harts power wheelies... awesome!

Not sure what to make of those results... Gwin is a weird one.. Minnar.. is he finally starting to feel his age. A different looking podium is a good thing however, and im looking forward to next week.

My theory is it's because anyone who rides a Specialized Demo goes a lot slower - Gwin, Sam Hill (a lot faster now he's not on a Demo), Jon Woods -your honour, I rest my case

Lucky for you lads ive bought a demo to slow me down.... you might keep up.

Jovial banter aside I was talking to Chris about this - the new style demo has never won a world cup... Hill won a world champs on it but not a single world cup on the new style bike.... I bet the Specialized marketing team are worried.

Looking forward to Val next week.

Yeh, good point about the Demo, it's a fast bike, strange how much Gwinn seems to of slowed down.

Oh another interesting stat to throw out there ....

Seems that a lot of people were surprised at Hill placing so well - 6th - but seem to have forgotten that he actually finished 4th last year.

I was there this weekend and it was wicked, it was very hot and a lot of walking up and down the mountain but plenty of bike porn to look at and a really good atmosphere.... here's a few of my pic's I've done so far.
