Don't think i will make this one. been feeling under the weather at the mo and defo not at full capacity. i am working on it though! lots of training sessions on the sly and building up gradually.

noel- its a strange thing you might be able to shed some light on- training is fine for around 45mins then i feel like i have run out of energy, this can happen after work at the gym or on a Saturday morning on a run right after breakfast, i try to eat plenty of carbs before training peanut butter and jam on a bagel last night before the gym! it might just be i am still getting over the bug i had a couple of weeks ago, i have also just moved house which was exhausting.

During the gym, nothing. might look at using my lucozade electrolyte/energy powder tonight
after training- lucozade recovery recommended to me by a friend who is in the GB Rowing squad.

i will see who it goes when i take the drink along with me, i used to only use it for training more than 1.5 hours, less than that and i was told water is enough as long as you have a pre training meal!

Yeh, but thats old research. Newer research suggests something with a 4to1 mix. 4carbs to 1protein pre training and during. High 5 do a good one or if you got some time we can look at mixing your own. I have a very good book that you should read.
