Defiantly not the big hit.
the Camber i would suggest as you'll want to be comfortable. (why not much suspension?)
HT would be faster but you will use up energy keeping out of the saddle.
Tyres, use the fastest lowest drag you can get away with without compromising grip too much.

Hi
I think the Camber comp has only 80 travel poss 100 maxi at the front.
I am not sure of the course that is the problem if it is a lot of dh stuff or just a xc trail type .
What about the helmet (on the head ) I think I will use a dirt lid as against full face or a road one.

I am making a list to get ready- Not sure where I will put the oven on the bike -will a travel gas bottle and small tin do it.
All joking a side I am listening to all advise.
I was hoping somebody had done it or been in the area to pre-warn me on the tracks etc.

Always best on the fly :)
I've never done a pre race practice lap I thrive on a bit of stress and thinking on my feet at most things :)

Hi
practise lap ...........
That would knock 8 miles of my total distance.

I will wait and ask those when they come back and the race marshals whats it like.

Just man my self
Just a minute
Just in time
Just in case
Just because its there.

I reacon I be good for 40 miles .
Any more and I will be shouting like I got a gold medal.

When I did 9/ 10 miles in a hour long race I was wacked.

A little bit wiser now I think.
