As you can see above..not much has happened, there have been a few other little bits built away from the track but nothing mahlor, I (and a few others here) ride the area quite a bit and its dissapointed to seeruns such as the leap of faith joining up with murder hill become overgrown.

I did notice the other day that my new job is involved in thje contstruction of some of the new buildings, Ill see if I can find out more about timescales, dont think its anytime soon, although there habve been a few events/races held on the track.

I am fairly unfamiliar with the actual layout of the Hadleigh MTB track in relation to the open XC tracks surrounding the area - I presume Murder Hill is the sharp descent towards a nice thick metal gate and the railway lines?

Its a shame that the trails don't seem to be kept in any way but lets hope they crack on with the actual MTB track! Thanks for the update Andy!

Yup thats murder hill or clay hill as its called by some, the mtb track is accessible from the very top of that segment if you really need to get over there to have a look, a guy that lives right overlooking the track reckons that there are a few people on it nearly every evening ! although its officially off limits, considering its a country park i don't see how this is 'legal' but they had chosen to brand it Hadleigh farm so that may provide them with a loop hole if they want to get snotty about it, trouble is, without the man mtb course being used it will fall into a state of neglect !

I dont bother going in there, did all that just after it was built and there are only few sections i'd session anyway as its just not my thing, but each to there own....

MSG are racing there on Sunday 29th Sept... think this is the last race planned on the site officially.. Before they leave it to overgrow before thinking about doing anything with it...

Obviously the word Legacy is not in the council book of words for this course and is just a distant pipe dream now following the Olympics....

Still Wales has the go ahead to build more MTB trails and we can look forward to these being completed and built in no time and use those instead :high5:

I found it amusing that last time I went to the top of leap of failth, they had screwed in the wooden barrier (previously some people removed it) but now you can see that people still ride it but go just to the right of the barrier which is a bit harder coz the roots/rock stick out more at the top).

Oh well.
