Hay all
Ive just got back in to mtb'ing after 4 years.
Where is best to build my all round technique this time of year, I've narrowed my choices down to danbury, chick sands, woburn sands and possibly swinly forest.
My skill level is not high but I wish to progress, I am riding a 2008 six trail with a single 38t ring up front so I'd rather no big climbs on the trail.
Cheers guys

Id agree with Danbury, as long as you can do the steepish drop bombholes then there is nothing too intimidating and its all quite rollable, you can build up speed and confidence and get higher air, etc

One thing missing from local/uk is real steep fast runs with almost endless berms as found in alps, etc. i found that runs like that improved my confidence and general bike handling. But all the spots you mentioned are fun :)

Cool I think I'll go to danbury then, I've done small drops (2 foot) and bomb holes on my xc bike in the past, so I think I'll be ok after a couple of go's, I've got a full racer, knee\shin pads and elbow pads, I'm off work at the mo so might go tomorrow, and possibly next week as well.
Cheers guys
