Ok all...

Going to be doing a nice leg stretch ride Sunday.. Flitch Way end to end. So starting at Braintree train station at 09:30 (pay and display I believe still) then go all way to Stansted and back... Bacon roll stop for re-fuel on way

Not too technical of a ride but more of a stamina ride so a good 32+ miles... nice boggy bit at halfway point for the mud fans out their to play in... rest is just single track along old railway route....

All welcome to join in...

Might be in on this. They're currently sticking a railway carriage on the path at Rayne station, only a small diversion though.

Yeah it's crap riding around Braintree. Wish there was some exciting stuff to ride but not going to find that living here!

Yep all the bridleways and footpaths near me are now resembling the Somme....

Flitch way is an all weather ride

Looks a nice ride :) where the route follows the B1256 is there a bike path? Quite fancy doing the ride with my son but don't like the idea of a 9 year old on a fast country road  When the route leaves the road is it sign posted ??
