Hi everyone. 30 years off the bike racing, now I'm back, and loving it. Also went and spent that time smoking :-(, but have managed to stop now I'm back on a bike. :D
Will be xc racing but like the sound of enduro, prefer long distance racing, have been told I'm now classed as a Grand veteran,
Have kept fit racing kayaks for the last 3 years in the uk and Europe.

Brought myself a second hand Kona Kikapu, defiantly addictive buying up grades, mmmm too many shiny things available lol, spend more on bike maintenance than I do on my car lol.

Train every night but looking to get out with others on Sundays,

Look forward to meeting some of you

Darren

Hi Rob. Enduro is defiantly my interest, I prefer long distance, the older I've got the long it takes to get going lol.
I'm lucky as DH was my girlfriends passion, (Polish) so next year will be a few trips to Poland and Romania for some good enduro races there
Yes the kids are older, and I'm determined the couch is not for me just yet !!!!!

Hi,

I liked Poland when I went there -salt mines and good riding country.
Pretty cheap airfares as well a lot going for it.
I need competion I am sure just means I get lower down the field and the wooden spoon in style.

Great riding around Zakapana and the tetra mountain range, some big hills to go up as well, but no riding in the national park. Some good rides round Krakow, GF still has her apartment there and cheap flights make for cheap weekend breaks
I only usually win the knobbly knees contest now
