Theres a really good shop in your local vicinity that does local rides. Flitch bikes are worth getting to know for those purchases that you "will" make, now you have a new hobbie.

Just down the road from me.

Have you tried the flitch way for a bit of exercise, probably a little bit waterlogged but still rideable

I live in Good Easter so not actually in Dunmow... Only down the road though... I ride down to the flitch and pick up either side of it by the traveloge hotel

Just dropping in here, me and the Mrs-to-be are also in Dunmow. Flitch way has been treating us well between Dunmow and Braintree, Although the Dunmow Cutting is still quite wet, the section from the A120 to Stortford is very accessible. Lovely rides here.
