Yah.. cube is back in the game and the shiny new chain and cassette is ready to... rust?

need to do a bit of fettleing tommorow to remove the play from the rear wheel which i only just noticed, and needs a new headset but who needs to steer anyway... even with a solid headset it will be safer than the other bike.. how i didn't crash and burn on sunday I don't know.. by the end of the ride i got better braking by going onto short grass than i did from the brakes... even at walking pace on a flat road it was better to just jump off...

Sorry chaps, I am about to do a solo this time as I need to be back by 12 for another kids b'day party...in Braintree!!!. I hope its the last of the year. I really need to get my other half driving. I may see you around the woods, I will be cycling from Chelmsford at 8.30 via Graces Walk (little Baddow) so maybe we bump into each other while I am on my way back.

Adam, are you still up for the Thetford Series on 26th Jan? I need to get few rides before then.

Oh mate, what a bad luck. Yeah, the Blakes have put a spell on your bike...or is it the bike desperately asking for upgrades. Not what you want in January I bet. When I went out at 8.30 I was pleased to see the mud frozen. Trust me, it was not fun at all, bumpy ride is an understatement. I have to say, it was quite nice going out so early. The chill made me go faster.

I know you have your hands full but whenever you are up for an early ride again let me know. I suspect this will become normal for most when the summer heat kicks in...if.
