Good ride today and nice to see some new faces ;)

Also good to see Tolga adding swimming to other sports, like ice skating, he enjoys while mountain biking

Yep... although to be fair I did go over the bars at one point and land up pinned to the ground by my own bike  My legs got tangled in the frame and pedals and I couldn't move until Fanda and Eric rescued me :D

Hahaha that massive puddle shortcut never gave me troubles before, was not expecting to be stuck in there and falling into it.

My 2nd crash was me being a bit of an idiot, though i may have been able to avoid it if my brakes actually worked. Not blaming the brakes though. Though i wasnt the only one to crash though -cough- Martin -cough- :D

Was definitely still a good ride though, enjoyed it alot more riding at a steadier pace than i usually do.

 Really fun ride, thx Martin for leading the way.... List of things to bring next time....camera to record Tolgas stunts and other falls into the eppings mud and puddles and also boat for some parts of trail. Nice to meet new riders who are committed to ride in this mental conditions. We will be so fit and quick when trails dry up.

Hi guys!

It was a really fun ride today. I've never got so covered in mud before, but it was so much fun riding on it!!

I was so happy and also really tired on my way home...

Thanks for taking me with you guys today and I hope we can repeat it soon.

Tolga, do something with those brakes and mind the puddles!! ;)

Welcome to the forum Seb, :)

Brakes are sorted, well the front ones anyway. But the puddles are to tempting! Haha.

The back ones are okay, i put some pads with a bit of material left on them in the back.

I think my braking problems are because of lazy/sticking pistons.

The new and old pads

One of my front pads came out like that too with one side worn more than the other, threw that away as the others were better.

There is no material left on the pad on the left, it was worn all the way down to the metal like yours :)

Oh, the pads are organic, so im expecting them to be worn a few meters into the next Epping ride!

I think i may need to learn how to bleed and take apart a hydraulic brake.

Check here http://www.epicbleedsolutions.com/resources/instructions/ for instruction for bleeding.... they're not bad for bleed kits too.

I just got the universal one and dot 4 fluid for my avids.
