The weather is looking pretty rubbish with 50/50 light rain forecast for all day :(

I think I'll ride anyway but I'm going to stick to the fire roads and try and work out a decent 'training loop' for a mid week night ride....

I'm not really selling this one well but.... All welcome :D

10:00am at Bury Rd car park. http://goo.gl/maps/BFzFT

The car park linked looks a bit different now as it's in two halves now... rough part and a tarmac part. Either part is fine as you can see one from the other.

I'll be in a blue VW Transporter.

The wide grit covered paths rather than the single track.

Like this....

Although obviously it won't be sunny.... it will be muddy, just not 12" deep mud.

Will probably take a run down to Gunpowder park again too.

Might join you on this one.. I know Gunpowder park as I work practically next to it.. so in summer months its my work afternoon leg stretch cycle route... can show you a good course up the canal past the Lee Valley White Water centre... all on cycle paths and some off piste (unless the lakes are all bigger now ???)

Hmm. I have mock exams to revise for but havent been out to Epping in quite a while now. Decisions decisions. Ill let you know later on if ill be on for it.

So will it just be all fire roads? And if so, will it be a shorter ride than usual?

Think of it this way Tolga... Epping will be there next week... and the week after that... and the week after that..... Revise for your mocks, bit more important than messing about on bikes ;)

There's a nice down hill to do at the start and then makes it a nice up hill at the end... Finish on a high

True :) Think it would be best to stay home and revise.
