I've only ridden at Epping 3-4 times but to be honest it seems there are many ways you can go and its hard to describe here. My short experience has been a bit like 'keep riding for 1hr and then look on the phone where you are and think of the way back or around'. There are quite a few little car parks scattered by the main roads that also have maps. A quick look will tell you where you are. That's what I did in my first ride there, easy.

If you go to high beech you will find lots of riders starting from there or going there for a cuppa, you could always try and tag along with someone or a group as lots of rides start from there
