Hi suzi – We pride ourselves on being newbie friendly so I hope VW didn’t put you off! His comments are out of character.

A regular ride like the Heales shop ride is a great way of getting an introduction to the forest. Unfortunately due to the soggy winter we haven’t gotten into the rhythm of a regular essexhertsmtb ride in Epping yet. As such rides here are a bit more adhoc.

Let us know how get on and also keep an eye for rides here. We aim to be a great resource for not only Epping but all the other riding nearby, and mtb in general.

MTB is a fantastic sport so hope you get into it over the Summer and we see you on a ride soon.
