Very last minute post and very aware of the wet weather prediction but hey I want to ride my bike and I do have wet weather gear!!

I will be heading out around that area midday (Stubbs lane area) if anyone around, wants to join. I have a decent loop and will be exploring some other interesting tracks pointed out from local bikers. Brown spesh if you see me

Seriously muddy but such good fun, no rain until last 15 mins and had forgotten how much fun it can be when you embrace the mud!! Great loop coming together now with some nice flowy singletrack :)

It was muddy  . Thank you for the directions to Wormley Woods. I have never cycled there and had so much fun! 2 pinch flats though :x

Glad you found some good trails in Wormley

Keep an eye out for " Daddy knows best" and "Mosquito Coaster" either side of the coal post gully

"Badgers" is really nice at the moment too, though a bit to straight on the last part before it joins the main path.

"Vern's Gully" down the southwest edge of Wormley is always a laugh.

Well I would like to get up there to explore the rest of Wormley Woods. According to my GPS (see below), I had missed out some bits. So I will keep an eye on the forum for anyone that might go up there. I am not sure if I will go up Sat or Sun?

Yep, you missed the best bits

Though the top of "Mosquito Coaster" is really wet at the moment but gets very good (fast & challenging) further down

and someone is putting logs across "Vern's Gully" so its best to walk it first

Hi MarkL - Yep found those last weekend, very nice. Will be great fun when the trails dry out again! Will be riding the woods regular soon :)

Can't make the weekend 8pie as off to Triscombe, but nice meeting you last week. Another time mate
