Hi guys. was a great ride at cannock. trails were almost perfect.

we went off to Llandlegna. the first climb dose go on a bit, not hard, just dull. But the black run was awsome. some really cool super fast trails.
all was going well untill the last 100 meters. straight over the bars, loud crack and a few choice words screamed out.
Of to a&e, rushed straight through, 10 xrays later told i've broken both arms :O broken left radial. (split down the middle) And broken right elbow. :(
So left arm in plaster, might need surgery, right arm just really stiff and sore.
So back home early, no riding for a long time and meant to be moving house next Friday!!!

Mate that's one heck of a story. Sorry to hear about that. Was it the very last drop off you spilled on? My pal broke his leg on Friday over Thorndon and his mrs is expecting in 2 weeks...!

He was doing a run called the gully. Very fast with a bridge at the bottom going over a stream. He clipped the bridge handrail flipping him over the bars mate..nasty..! Brocken leg, scratched face, fat lip.(just like a night out in Romford). Ironicly, the bridge is called "dans bridge" as another mate did his Collar bone on it 2 yrs ago.

Finally home last night.

Op went very well, but OMG i have never had pain like it. Had a full gereral, didnt feel too bad afterwards but that night Had morphine ever 2 hours and that only calmed it down..
A lot better now but still sore,
Cast to come off in 2 weeks then will be in wrist suport.

I didnt think the drop I came off was that big but just seen some footage!!! No wonder that hurt.

About to get the keys to my new house and get ready to move in over the weekend, Not easy whilst in plaster.

Speedy recovery fella, hope the house move went OK

Just posted a comment about nutrition on Beths 'new bike...'post about Oxylift and vitamin C. Seemed to work for me, I was desperate to try everything to heal quick. Actually ,I think I would add bluberries to that as well now.
