Generally speaking, spokes coming loose is a sign of bad wheel building..!!
Not having correct and even tension across the rim, the drive side / non drive side need different tensions ,
The lacing x2 x3 x4 can factor into spoke problems if your said wheel is not suited to your style of riding..!! (too much stress..!!)
99% of factory built wheels are not as good as hand built wheels, because a machine cannot feel tension..
A good hand built wheel built up well will probably never need truing or give any problems..

Can I ask what lacing your wheels have..?? Do you run tubeless..??

Stay on target...!!

What are the issues Simon? Is it the build or the product? Did they say why they come loose?
My sun ringles were recently very loose.

Orange said they have had a couple of sets back (loose) spokes) if this happens their in house wheel builder will replace the spokes & nipples under warranty! But still never found out who was the original builder and supplier! both set where 27.5! Running tubless. I'll put afew miles on him & recheck the tension!

Interesting. I didn't realise initially that your new bike was 650b do you notice much difference to the small wheels?

Yeah mate! roll's faster & climbs alittle better ! Orange have put an inch on the top tube & took 1 inch off the seat tube! so it feels like you sit more in the frame lower the centre of gravity ! also turns in well!

Ok so with the rest of the bike running fine my creaking issue returned so i decided to strip the front end down! on removing the head set cups i found a slightly damaged head tube which looks like it may of been done when possibly reaming the head tube! ,so back to Orange & 2 weeks later got a call saying they are sending the bike back with new 2015 frame complete with new stealth dropper (which come with the new 2015 models)! Popped over Weald today all running fine! , looks a lot tidier with the stealth dropper! Happy chap ;)

Blimey, I thought you got this sorted 2mths ago when i last saw you. I looks like it worked out well at the end but what a pain to deal with nevertheless.

Yep , even with the head tube slightly out of shape it was still within spec! so took a while to exactly pin point the creaking but happy with the out come! Was gutted when the 2015 came out as stealth dropper & prefer the decals ! When they were gonna fit up the new frame couldn't wait to get it home :)

Sounds like it worked out for the better in the end. Any pics on the new frame?
