It's been a while since I have been on a bike, kids, marriage and life, belly is getting bigger and I'm only getting older so want to get fit and have fun at the same time. So here I am, have a bike on order and am ready to get back in the saddle, I live in a village near Danbury so looks like that's going to be my local spot, so if you see a slightly older bloke looking confused on a new clean bike on Danbury common, odds are it could be me, looking forward to getting back into biking, BMX was my thing when I was younger so hopefully I haven't lost all my skills.
Any how that's me for now.
Cheers, hopefully see a few of you about,
Piers........

Most peeps park in the bicknacre car park and ride up from there. Look for Copt hill on a map, there is small dirt road off that by big house, that's where the DH runs all start from, there will be people there.

Danbury has some really good XC routes and they are running near on perfect now, was up their today and so dry and fast. Most weekends there is always people doing the DH runs, the XC stuff you've gotta really know the routes to get the best out of them. Thurs night is normally a night ride around the area as well...
