No worries wrong size for me anyway. No lateral grip and spent more time on my back because of them. Give me conti's any day

2.5? I don't run such a wide tyre not even on my DH bike!

Really? This is for my trail bike. It came spec'ed with a 2.4 on the front out the factory, that will be going on the back to mimic what comes on the the 2015 spec version of my bike.

I have more confidence with my high roller on the front of my other bike, surely its gotta be better than an x king for grip? Well I will find out soon enough!

As i understand they have minced about with the Maxxis widths this year so it may handle alright, it would certainly float on mud being a big tyre

X-king would be like slicks compared.

Definitely you'll find that you have more grip, X-King is more like a XC summer tyre but I'd have gone for something thinner and lighter to cut through the mud better.

Got last week Tenn Protean Waterproof & Breathable Cycling Trousers Black
Worn lastnight and tonight they not boil in a bag as most waterproof trousers are, work very well keeped me dry.
Large pocket on each leg and zip off bottom the make them into shorts.

For 20 odd quid they great.
Only thing have to tuck right leg into sock as big ring catches inside of leg couple times.
Quiet fashion statement ;)

Is that the fully reflective one? Don't wear it on group night rides, it'll blind everyone else!

Hmm was contemplating getting that jacket too. Let us know what you think. Can currently get it for £58 in Halfords (10% BC discount). Where did you get it from?
