Word up Mo-Fo's
So who else is racing?
as per usual "Team Robinson Racing" will be there, and as discussed before were going up the night before to camp and possibly do a practice lap the night before (if we can?) ;)

Did anyone else do this race last year?
Its the only race i ever did that i hated

A few mods to get done to Cally before the weekend, New brake Hoses (red of course) 203mm rotors (which feel really heavy so may only put the front on for now?) and wheel is going in to be fixed as movement in the bearings. apart from that I'm ready to go!

I'll be there.

Normally manage to keep with the leading pack for about 50 metres then rapidly get overtaken by everyone.

Not ridden at Tunstall before - what makes it nasty?

Tunstall is a nice place to ride, I think it has a bit more gradient than say Thetford

I go there a bit. If you ever want a tour let me know

Laser, not my idea, don't think I've ever had a good nights sleep in a tent? But you know what G is like, overenthusiastic about everything! It will give rich even more time to wind me up too  I think the chances of it being Sandy are pretty high? Nora when was the last time you rode there?

I had planned to go but with petrol costs going up and a planned trip up to Windemere at the end of the month for a triathlon, well something has to give.

Good luck though, let us know how you get on.

Well bike is pretty much ready and i have remembered to buy a blow up bed so i dont have to sleep on the hard ground!
Now all i'm waiting on is my wheel to be fixed (cartredge bearings so in theory shouldnt be too much of a issue?)

You lot did look tired when you arrived :? :? :? and G's tyre change antics and this and that

Was a tad warm to race and I drank a liter & half camelback racing as well, good course, but could imagine a right pain if it was raining.

They set off very fast at the start but I soon picked em off one by one, those bomb holes made many a victim and I at-least gained 4 places due to people falling off or stopping

Here's some pictures I took:

In the starting pens...Us vets behind the younger lot 8-) 8-)

Then the route and Endomondo stats, did all four laps, unsure of the finishing place or times as they are not up online yet by MSG

Next race Danbury on 24th July, hopefully have my full bouncer by then 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

I didn't enjoy that as much as previous races. Felt uphill all the way, bit like one of those Escher drawings!

4 hours sleep and lack of fitness don't help either! Stiff neck all the way round.
