Just started using re the kevlars so grippy and well comfy on carbon bars and comfortable without gloves as well

Jamie, that bike was awesome until I cracked it in two places in a race.

Those foam grips look nice, but I found you can damage them too easily.

I had some of those foam ones from Superstar, one ride in and they where missing chunks, as overgrown bushes grabbed em

Just after saying how I like my grips I fall off and shred the end of them :oops:

So I'm looking for new grips ,but I only want single lock on ring as I tend to hold the end of the bars sometimes but need end protection for bars as they are carbon..!!
Any ideas people..??

Had these on a rental, nice and tacky. It was an Ibis Ripley full XTR, and the grips were the best part.

Put these on my winter bike as I didn't think they were soft enough, but put loads of miles in and they've definitely grown on me, seem to have got tackier as they've worn in. Don't worry about plugs, the plastic plug that comes with them fits really neatly and secure into the bars - they won't fall out.

I've got ESI silicone grips on my main ride, and yes they'd be perfect if they didn't cut up so easily at the ends. I've got these bar plugs http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/odys ... -prod87494 and they mate really well with the grips and they do a pretty good job of protecting the grips.

I'd say the easton and TLD are slightly fatter than the RF and ESI. I've got Renthal super soft lock-ons on my DH bike and they are really nice, super tacky but still thin. I wouldn't put them on my trail bike as they'd wear out too quick. I had the Renthal glue on kevlar grips which were nice, but I got fed up re-gluing them
