SRAM Alloy (32t ring)
SRAM XX1 Carbon (32t ring)
I have a fitting question.
The XX1 has a shorter spindle than the alloy crank, it comes with a narrower drive side spacer.
How much movement should be taken up by the pre0load ring on the non drive side?
When I tighten in the crank, not up to spec, but enough so that there is not much left to tighten, I have about 2 to 3 mm of play in the crank. Is it normal for this amount of play to be taken up by the bearing preload ring on the non drive side?
The spacer leaves the correct amount of spindle showing.
