My riding buddy ordered a new bike last week and all being well it should be here Friday. The plan was to go Danbury anyway. I'm not the best at getting up early and he is even worse :) I should be able to make 10am though, so as long as I can drag him out his pit we could make it. If not maybe catch up a bit later. We know the runs well, but could do with some guidance to link up the XC.

Was planning on going to the lower car park, but could do the one near the pub depending on where your setting off from?

Are you driving or taking the train?

If driving then A502, A406, M11, M25, A12 till the Maldon A414 turn off (there are many A414 turn offs before this) Follow signs to Danbury then there are three main car parks near The Common/ Bicknacre Road/ Mayes Lane.

Will be planning on meeting at the car park next to the cricketer arms pub (Penny Royal Road | Danbury, Chelmsford CM3 4ED).

Looks like no engineering works at the weekend

The xc trails are all fun but hard to find and link up everything as they are made up of lots of little woods

I've only got a bike rack for two other wise would of said join, Danbury does not have a train station, nearest one is Chelmsford (not really ride-able distance especial if you don't know the area)
