You can now buy the chin bar as a separate item.

Does it come with all the fitments to modify the standard helmet? Still makes it very expensive compared to the stronger lighter parachute?

I'll let you know when it arrives. From what I can see, it comes with everything needed.
Yes, agree it is expensive, but I already have the helmet.

Is it though? CRC list the 2R as 694g and the MET 700g. Not sure if its a mistake or weighed without the chin bar maybe?

I have a Parachute and love it. Don't feel the need to change it, but still wouldn't mind trying a 2R on to see how it compares.

The parachute didn't fit me very well.

I'm happy with the fit, so by that token maybe the 2R won't work for me......still like to try though :)

I've also had the misfortune to test it pretty well, and was happy with the outcome, sure I'd be looking even less pretty than I am if I hadn't had it on!

Love the fit of my Bell Super 2R helmet and its very comfy for me. Some don't like the fit and also its not heavy at all, very good ventilation as well.

Chin bar turned up today. Plug and play. Comes as a complete unit, you just clip it on.

Ok, that's kind of cool. Makes me wish I had bought the helmet I saw in skyline cafe for £25

Same colour as mine..

So was the price work out the same buying both parts separately, as opposed to as one, think mine was about £99 when I brought it

I paid £60 (I think) for the Helmet during a Helmet amnesty at Thetford earlier this year. The chin guard was £63 from Wiggle.
So I have paid over the odds.

I'm also not sure mine has MIPS?

If it is MIPS then the helmet will have a yellow sticker on it saying so, also think you can see the mips part also in the helmet.

All in all I love it, comfy fit and also converts to a trail lid when you don't need the chin guard
