OK so it's getting cold and wet and a little muddy so it must be Thurrock loop time! I've not got as much time in the evenings during the week but am going to try for Monday nights.
As I've been mainly about short trail days I'm worried that it'll kill me to kick off with the full Thurrock loop so instead my plan was to do some shorter options then build up to the full 25 miles.
First ride will be Gym, Brannets Wood, Purfleet, Thames, gym. All told I think it'll be about 11/12 miles.I've seen a few posts about people looking for trails around Ockendon/Thurrock; this is a good/basic local ride.
Any and all are welcome - no matter if you are long in the tooth or a complete newby Pace will be dictated by slowest rider - if you are looking for a sprint then I don't suggest you come along - it'll be a steady pedal but not lightning fast!
Meet at Bannatynes Gym for 19:20 - we leave at 19:30 sharp. Expect ride to take anything up to 90 mins.

LIGHTS ARE ESSENTIAL AS WE WILL BE RIDING THOUGH WOODS AND THERE ARE LOADS OF SECTIONS WITH NO STREET LIGHTS.Percy Pigs aren't essential but lets face it they or something like them are always appreciated!
