No. I've but seen a few people about when I've been working. are there any maps or is it a word of mouth thing? I've got 2 smallish boys (6 and 8) who I want to take out. any other riders with kids in the area? Also if I were to organise an 'official' mtb day (probably not till spring) who would like to come?

TabMcLaughlin, if the jumps don't exist and we wanted permission to build some, would you have the contact for us to talk to?

I would be the person to talk to! (Though I would have to double check anything with my boss before saying definite yes or no). If you've been to the woods before you'll know there are lots of fantastic big dips and natural humps as well as an awesome long downhill run. But actual jump construction is a bit tricky due to it being illegal to dig in this particular woods because it has SSSI status (is a particularly valuable wildlife habitat). If you bought boards with you to temporarily place and then took them away at the end of your ride that would be no problem. but if you leave anything the rangers will clear it away pretty quickly. I'm keen to get some non destructive jumps in the woods so in the long term we could look at finding a place to store stuff where the rangers would know not to take it?
