Anyone else following this: www.southernenduro.co.uk ?

Looks like it could be fun, and not all that far from home.

Most stuff goes up on Facebook, including couple of dates and venues:

Rd2 12th June: Venue TBA
Rd3 24th July: QECP, Hampshire
Rd4 18th Sept: Venue TBA

Each race will be run over one day and consist of four stages, predominately downhill. Practice in the morning and race in the afternoon.

Please save the dates and share with your friends.

Yeah, been speaking to Scott, the organiser on these, and it's looking good so far. I've been meaning to help at some dig days but hasn't worked so far.

I did the QECP endure last year and was well organised, and they did well to get good trails out of a very small hill, so I expect similar from the other venues.

After some races further afield this year, I'm probably going to stay more local, so a combo of southern Enduro, Enduro1, South West Enduro, and Welsh Gravity Enduro, with maybe a sprinkling of others, especially at Revolution BP - there are far too many series next year!

A stage is 5mins max but the transition between each stage can be 40/60 mins depending on fitness.

According to Facebook, courses will be around 10 to 12km long. Riding twice, morning practice afternoon race, so total of around 20 to 24km.

4 timed stages for each race.

Entries for round one go live Saturday morning at 8am.

I can make the last round now, so have sneaked a late entry in for the whole series. Can't wait. :)
