Fitted my new Raceface cranks with 30t N/W Cinch chainring & HOPE slick chain guide.
Early 2015 Five so has old type ISGC tabs which was a tight fit as running 30MM BB. So ordered some shallow allen head bolts form Ebay.
Tested yesterday.

Those bolts do look really close.. :o Does it really need a chain guide...?

Cranks look sweet ,how's the weight of them compared to what was on it out of curiosity..!!

Just ordered from CRC a new 1x11 set up for my Norco Sight.
Went for Shamino 11-42 cassette & oval 32t chain ring.
Need to get out more on my sight, hope this will help.

Hopefully it might arrive before the weekend so I can fit it & test ride.

I've got 1 b y 11 Shimano on my Bumble Bee.

It's good but very sensitive to chain line....

Problem is that the chain will drop back down the cassette if you back peddle in the largest sprockets. No problem don't back peddle I hear you say ;)

Well that works until you try to stall on a climb.... hook your foot under the peddle to reposition it :problem:

I've set mine up with the BB spacer on the non drive side and spacers under the chain ring bolts. Just about cures the problem. I only get the problem in the 42 sprocket and it takes almost a full turn for the chain to start dropping.

Got some valves and tape to go tubeless.

I wish when a brand lists something as tubeless ready before you buy it to really mean it !

Just ordered up this new kit bag. See this in the MBUK mag and needed a new kit bag. I like the idea of the separate bags for dry and wet kit also the mat to stand on.

Well bag turned up today and it's huge, comes as three parts, main bag and then smaller one for wet kit and also a mat to stand on, this has its own sleeve in main bag to stash away. Only thing is it's just a big holdall and no zip closure. So no leaving on show in boot of car. But for weekends away and travels it'll swallow all kit and some moreImage
