Got a new bike coming :D Shiny (albeit ex display) Boardman MTB FS Pro 650b 2014 at a VERY good price thanks to staff discount at Halfords!

Already planning on some changes:
Grips (Why spec white grips?! They don't even stay clean in the shop!) Will likely just swap my existing ODI Ruffian grips onto it, but may get new red lock rings for it.
Red gear outer (Shimano from CRC/Wiggleif its good stuff?)
Red braided goodridge brake hoses, if they are worth the hassle of a full rebleed? May buy a matching SRAM Guide R for the front (currently has Elixir trail 7) as mismatching brakes is bugging me. But I could fit Avid Juicy 5's from another bike to it.
Pedals, maybe DMR V8's or V12's, liking the red scheme I've got going, more research needed first.
Frame protection. Definitely want to stop cable rub and stone chips, but looking at feasibility of doing the whole frame and forks.
Red seat post clamp.
Tyres will come in time if the Schwalbe's on it turn out not to be good, shame the pair of Maxxis I fitted to my other bike in Nov won't fit (26").

The Whyte looks wicked!

DHR90 Don't bother with the red hoses they look so dated.

I like mine in hardtail, takes a bit of getting use to (with slightly slower steering) but does feel more stable at speed, steeper downs and technical rideing

Yeah I wouldn't say I'm unhappy with the way it feels now but the cheap headset that it came with was always going to be a temp measure. chemical bikes put a -2 degree angle headset in from point of sale.

Nice - 2 degs will make a big difference - probably add 20mm to the wheelbase... enduro bikes should be around 66 or less in my book

Slack attack!
