But noisy ones act to harass those in front of you on a trail AND they shout at you to pedal more if you can hear them... or at least that's why I like them...

Both my sets of wheels click but nowhere near Dave's Hope 4's, bloody noisy things.

Well the hope lolypop sticks are inside the free hub body, so the little springy sticks go against a tooth edge, when the loud lolypop sticks go one way you get drive, when freewheeling it clacks against the teeth.
