Guy need some help, I have a 5 year old who is massive into his bike but not just riding round the streets. I take him over Hadleigh and he joins the GoRide their each month but want to take him to other places but not getting in the way of the serious riders. He loves twisting, burns, little rocky and small steps at moment. We tried Danbury Common but just to dangerous for young kids.

Only beginner myself but we out every weekend and during week at moment so looking for options.

No official trails, the wooded path up from the main carpark (wooden fortress end) and then a good few miles of in and out following the paths. They used to hold MSG races back in the day there.

As Ian says Hylands is easy but fun, towards the top it gets a bit twistier and goes in and out of ditches.

If you ride as far up as you can then follow the edge of the field round you can ride along side a stream that divides the park and the golf course and that is a lot of fun as its off camber, with roots and twists and turns. When you get to the end turn around and ride back.
