Hi guys, I have just joined the forum after finding this thread via a Google Search. It's been close to 10 years since I visited this spot. I'm easing myself back into mtb after buying a Vitus Sentier hardtail. I've been up to chicksands a few times but I live in Palmer's green so am hoping to get some local sessions in.

Anyway, I'm off work at the mo and went up thorough chase to get some practice in hopefully before anyone actually sees me fumbling but there was a lot of security alongside the mental health unit and warning signage about unauthorised personel which kind of pit me off so I turned back. Does everyone still go that way through?

And to add of course I'm willing to come and muck in on maintainence days as I live 10 mins away.

Cheers guys

Hey guys,

So I have been riding a bit of MTB over the years, never to any great skill level but I enjoy myself. I started riding in Surrey recently with a group of friends and I'm keen to improve my jumping skills. It's been suggested that I buy a DJ bike and hone my skills on that to transfer over to MTB so that is what I have done.

I live in Harringay near Finsbury Park so reasonably close I believe, although I don't know the exact location of the trails. I would be keen to get involved and meet some new people.

Cheers

Hey mate yes it is. It’s been pretty quite lately as we’ve all been busy working a lot of weekends but it’s prime building season
