Hi peeps, wondering what tyres and size you're running.

I'm currently on maxxis minion 2.7F and 2.5R 60a. They do really well on hard pack, grip good on mud but seem a bit sluggish on more sandy and loose conditions.

Been running them since les gets before my break away. Now I'm used to mahoosive sizes 2.3's seem well skinny.

Does anyone else swap tyres between locations? Any comments?

Followed the advice from Matt and Karve.
2.35s for big hills/mountains, 2.1 or 2.0 for xc/epping/local, 1.8 mudx for the winter
seems to work well.

On HT, bonty mud x 1.8, for cutting through the winter mud in epping. Mud sharks go down to 1.5 if you wanna get skinner.

2,7!! thats nearly fat bike size ;)

Well the plan with the 2.7 is get maximum grip over the roots sections when I built up my bike.

As times progressed I've found that roots aren't that bad if you hit them fast, no brakes and square.

Tis all a learning curve.
