Will be working out costs of Bedgebury jaunt vs popping to Epping.

Not done either as yet so no idea what each location delivers :(

The couple of you who have ridden with me at Thorndon may have noticed I like to tackle fast challenging stuff ;) Does Epping deliver on this front?

Epping gives you back what you put in - go fo a mellow pootle and that's what ull get - get ur head down and foot out and look to ride it fast and it can be as tech as u want it to be.

A lot of it rewards a quite attacking style of riding.

Just remember tho it is inside the m25 so no big hills - its just about the flow

If I could get to Epping as easy and cheap as I can with Thorndon then I'll would be there every weekend.

Not seen how bad it is in winter.
More the reason to ride it now!

Last time I rode Epping it was after a week of British summer weather so was very gloopy in places and sloppy... Great fun on the down hills bits. It has some great tracks and tight twisty routes the guys know these off the normal route tracks so no dog walkers to tangle with.. I like riding the place..... As it's just so big in their your like it EV as you can barrel down some of the downhill sections weaving amongs the trees and bushes, also have some stream crossings that always amuse us 

It's fine in there now, some spots are boggy but most of the tracks are dry and fast.
