I've got Racing Ralphs 2.1" mounted but unsure if putting some grippier at the front like Mountain king 2.2. After reading some forums there are a lot of people using Rons front, Ralphs rear. I'm a novice in tyres...
Should I leave at home Bontrager Jones mud x, right?

My view on all this tyre mallarcky is stop thinking about it and just ride you whimps :p.
What time are you guys gonna be over there? Im planning on getting over at some point in the day if im early enough and there are spaces left ill race if not ill just cheer you lot on. What do you all ride/drive so i know what bikes and cars to look out for?

Going by train to Braintree station. I guess I'll be there at around 10am when Warriors start. My race is at 1pm.
I'm riding a HT Boardman pro carbon, number 110

It will take you about 20 minutes from the station to the venue on bike

Oooh, tyre choices, I'd forgotten all about that! It'll be a tough call, I can either use the ones that came with the bike, or......... not. I think I'll go with the tyres. :)

Having spent most of the week trying to think up a decent excuse and failing, I'll be there (for the 1 hour jaunt) at 8:30, 8:45ish.

If anyone sees me, please take pity and show me where the course goes! I shouldn't be too hard to spot, look for a billy-no-mates on a blue specialised enduro (including cross-country friendly dual crown forks, obviously :wtf: ) wearing no lycra whatsoever

Good ride today, the course was really good but not to technical in any way, a few hills to sap the lungs and legs.

Good timings as well for all. Pictures and debrief to follow 
