Just out of interest, has anyone tested their lactic threshold? Or had it tested by professionals?

If not, does anyone think it worth having it done?

The best way to do it, is on a turbo with cycling computer or watt meter and heart rate monitor.

I am putting together my ebook and need to test the software. So if you keen, we can do it when you get back from your trip.

Its very intensive, so not ideal before a big event.

Anyone else that is keen is welcome. I need to iron out all the software so the more results I have to work with the better.

The results wont be published, its purely so that I can calibrate etc.

I am doing it for free at the minute, so contact me if you interested.

Its not invasive (no blood test). Just pushing until your lactic threshold, which is demanding.

NIce one buddy, drop me a pm with your details: emial or mobile

I will give you a ring this evening to set a date.

I have everything you will need, but if you have:

Bike (preferably XC or Road)
Heart Rate monitor
Cycling computer with speed censor (gps wont work on turbo) or power tap)

Then it will make it more comfortable for you cause they yours, but if not I have everything.

Doing 3 big days in Afan (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) so by Thursday 18th August I'll be fully recovered. And the following Sunday is TORQ in your sleep. If the 18th isn't possible then somewhere after TORQ? Talk to you tomorrow

After Torq would be best mate.

But we can chat tomorrow.

Anyone else keen to do the test? If so, please just PM me.

Fit or unfit, it tests your limits not mine.
