Went to Tilgate yesterday. It pissed down but I still had fun. Some of the singletrack is awesome but has been ruined by mx riders. Massive ruts are hidden in the ferns and your pedals will hit the floor.
The dh runs (about 13 of them) are really short but fun.

RH10 5NY is the postcode you need for the sat nav. Parking is restricted to a layby. £4 for a day pass from CTC/Forestry Commision. Facebook page is called Ride Tilgate.

Good stuff. Are the runs easy enough to find?

Yeah there is a handy map by the gate as you go in from road. The postcode above takes you to parish rd about a mile or less down it on the left is a metal gate. Although the map shows a pump track that hasn't been built yet all the trails are there. I want a return trip in the dry!
