As its so close to me ive decided may aswell start making use if it a bit more, and am planning to start a regular ride there once or twice a week

Atm over summer im thinking friday evenings and 1 other evening in the week (tue or wed probably)

Know a fun 12 mile-ish rotue with both climbs and fun downhill singletrack, which has room to be made longer quite easily (i'd guess another 6ish miles) and it wouldn't repeat any parts so wouldn't feel repetitive and long

If any1 would like to join on these, post up and can decide days / times ( i am flexible, just posted those days as starting point)

Fitness doesnt realy matter, as route is easily shortened / some hills avoided

That is all. :)

Sound good to me - Broxbourne's local enough to get over in an evening, and be nice to be shown around...

In terms of evenings, I'm (in theory) pretty flexible, although working for myself means stuff crops up as and when, so committing to a definite, regular day is always tough.

But definitely up for trip(s) across. Let us know as and when a plan comes together!

Be good to get to know the decent routes and have alternatives to ride local'ish trails. Let me know the first date and I'll try and get along.

I've only just returned to work after a broken ankle, so still probably a bit early for me.

Would love to - but without bike for a week or two, and off on holiday on Saturday. So Friday evening I really should be thinking about packing Speedos and suntan lotion. For a week in Devon.

Optimist, me.

Definitely up for it post-hols tho...

Erm
depends on speed, but at an average speed of say 10mph, and not taking any breaks logner then just getting a drink, id say 2 hours or so should allow enough for the route
or 2 and a half for the slightly logner one

Did the short version
about 12 miles-ish, didn't realy time it but it was around a hour, jsut over
starts off with bit of singletrack, then a fire road uphill, bit of road, techy down/up, bit of skills shorey type stuff (only curb height, but like 6inches wide so quite fun to balance on), then short road to bencroft, bit of fire road up/down hills, then a flat singletrack loop, bitr more fire road back round up / down few hills, then a little loop of a few steepish ups/downs tightly packed, back out onto a fire road, short way to end, then raod back to carpark, or down hill to a pub if you fancy

how does htat sound

is possible to extend
