Hi Sarpullido,

Sorry to hear about your finger, healing vibes and speedy recovery for 12/12.

Afan was amazing, I got a 2 runs in on the whites level plus 1 black loop in the dry on the friday, pissed it Saturday and we did The Skyline trail as Rob wanted to do it before it closes, its pretty boring apart from the final descent (last 8km) but because of the weather we cut it short just over the 3/4 way around. Pedaling downhill on fireroad was no fun! Sunday, we did the wall from our campsite which was a bonus, up a diversion and straight onto the final descent. Up the climb and finished with the 2 or 3 sections at the top (which is my fave part) and finishing at the campsite.

Highlight for me was the whites level, its been years since Ive been (2007or 08) and the 'energy' section was new to me and really amazing, the highlight of the whole trail imo. The last 8km of the skyline was the other highlight (apart from the big fireroad climb Id forgotten about  )

Well done to Rob, we worked it out afterwards, he did over 6000m of descending as well as doing double his longest ride ever at 6 hours. Good to meet Reaver off here as well.

Afan makes you a better ride. Aiming to get back there again at some point...

Glad you had a good time. Good way to enjoy a birthday for Rob. Bet you're knackered now! Need to get back over there myself at some point, will hopefully be easier when my brother gets his new bike as he lives in Cardiff so may be able to stay there!

Woww! Good to know you enjoyed loads!
My finger is healing really fast and I'm prepared for TORQ.

I've got a date available for Afan or another alternative. It's 12th,13th and 14th November. There will be, for sure, someone going somewhere :)
