With thoughts moving away from summer to winter sports, I was recently thinking about the rivalry between skiers and snowboarders and likened it to MTB and road cycling.

So what side of the fence to you sit and why? I bet most on here will be Boarders. :monkey:

Skiing - the carving sensation is just like railing turn on a bike IMO!

Skier -
Nice short fat carving skis mixing up piste with off piste.
Would like to hit the mountains more in the winter, but family commitments, lack of holiday and finances stop me.

Do you find your better (more natural) ski turn direction is the same as on your bike? My left turn is better both on ski and bike. I guess the weight shift sequence much be similar.
