How high is your peak? looks like its pointing right up to the sky?
I suppose it will work better on a DH lid to my Parachute?

I made a similar mount using one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261741592870? ... EBIDX%3AIT for the Sir Digby Chicken Cesar style of video, will need to flip the video 180 though.

Here is some Visor mount footage from this weekend on the Vicious Valley to A 470 runs at Bike Park Wales

It could have done with a tiny bit of tweaking to the angle but overall i'm pretty happy with the results.

It doesnt fish eye as much as the GoPro does it, gives a much better depth of shot?
i think you need need it slightly down to see the hands/wheel movement? (otherwise you were on the floor the whole time ;) )

Its a toughie because the stability of the helmet mount is good for tracking other riders but as you point out makes it look like you sat down the whole time.

Maybe i will look into a Fish eye adapter to see if it captures a bit more bar action.

i wasn't on the floor!

Yeah I thought that last night, my previous iPhone holder fish-eyed a lot more, more than go pro perhaps.

Had a play with chest mount which always looks best IMO, did some vids at Danbury but needed to angle it up more, too much shoe gazing :)
