Chatman, that sounds like a really good and fun course. I was expecting MSG races to be a bit more simple than that, like just easy single tracks and stuff, so more of a fitness orientated race. That sounds like you need a fair amount of skill too!

The courses are a far bit of skill but most things you can handle.. Hey they even let the youth riders on them...

Your do well on them. Need to keep a fare pace up for about an hour but only do about 11 to 14 miles... Just good fun in the sun today.

I recorded the reconnaissance lap in the morning. Once the 30 min long video converts I'll upload it to youtube so you get the feel of the route.

Sounds good! Keeping a good pace for that many miles seems doable. Im sure the sight of other riders in front of you in a race situation gives you that extra determination and speed. It works out that way for me in go karting. :)

Im going to try and get my parents to take me to the Langdon hills event as thats the nearest one.

Hi,
That was me , 3 laps for me it was a tough course again.
I did not like the wood area mud it was tacky.
I was last to start in the last of the races .
I had a bit of a race with another oldie and got the better of him.
know I was not last as quite a few had tec faults.
A couple of bad accidents -medical cases.
Will look up where I came later .
But at the begining I saw that there was only 36 entries in my cat.
5 no shows .
when I went back there had another few pay on the day.
So I was up against it to get any points at all.

I think my bike has had really as I was pedalling along in the woods and somebody shouted behind me your back wheel is buckled and I replied no it is my weight .
But it may explain the lack of speed and the side ways movement it was giving me.

I dont know why I am not as tied as I used to be .
finished on floor
Now I just walk off head on the floor .
sychio I am going to have to have a good talking to myself and get my motivation and body back at it .
Good track and the grass bumpy -tank ruts etc made it hard work which is the point of it .
I was doing 30 min laps.
I came off at the bunker on yhe drop down .I lent back on the rear wheel and got carried away as the front then went straight up when I hit the bottom and I had the bike higher than me in the air rear end on the floor
and held onto the handle bars and bounced .
Picked myself up and carried on like a real troppe.
The discription given was good .
My view was that it was a good challenging course and should have been Ideal for me as level and tec , but it was not to be for reason of my own making.
Bring on CODHAM............
Bob

The place used to be an airfield used by RAF and USAAF hence the abundance of concrete :)
