Matt's ecommencel looks real nice, wasn't sure on the frame model no. though, Andy's is way too dh for my needs.
muzza, sorry - MUZZA'S IS BUILT SLOPE STYLE SO NEEDS A DIET (sorry couldn't resist !)

I've spent ages looking at geometry and size and pretty much has to be one of the three in the original post!

Rose bikes use a similar link actuated single pivot for their bikes:

http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/rose ... et-627095/
http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/rose ... et-627103/

Good value, might be worth a look. (I'd keep the hardtail though!)

That's true - their complete bikes are good value but the frames are quite pricey. Still cheaper than a Bottlerocket though!

The Rose frames are in the same price bracket at the bottlerocket gutted because i hear such great things about both :(

thats pushed my interest to the dartmoor wish a bit more to be honest, visually theres little differenc, i've messaged each company to ask what the weight of each of the bottlerocket/wish/soda FR is but had no response boo..... as i'd like a light weight bike that will cope 9if you know what i mean ?

If you would like to know anything about the Bottlerocket speak to Norcbot (Dan) on here.
He is a Transition dealer :)
He also owns a bottle rocket, so I am sure he will let you demo it possibly.
It's pretty heavy in it's current set up but new forks should be here next week and they're pretty special ;)

It is actually a bit bonkers that the Uncle Jimbo frame is £1121 but you can buy a complete XT equipped bike with a Domain fork, decent wheelset and Raceface/Crank Bro's bits for £1773! http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/rose ... o-1-583700.

If you're selling the old bike it's potentially worth buying this, maybe having a bit of a swap around of parts you'd like to keep of the old bike (if they fit) leaving the Net cost at under £1000

Credit Card! It will all balance out in the end. But I know what you mean, if I thought like that, I'd have more than just one hardtail too!

The pinkbike deal looks like it will only result in disappointment and a night on the town for someone in Poland.

i would agree but dartmoor are a polish firm so potentially possible.

I would chat to duncan at Void Bike shop in maldon about the dartmoor and indeed the ns he deals in both.

@ wenman the BOS forks are nearly here then?

Transition have dropped the bottlerocket from their website  but i was looking about and reading stuff....

Does anyone else find these reviews for the bandit really confusing :?:

http://www.transitionbikes.com/2013/Bikes_Bandit26_1.cfm

some say its no good for going uphill, another says its no good for gong downhill and they're together on the transition website ! bad marketing ??
