All/most Alps places are limited to summer..April/may time is normally pretty chilly/wet/snowy..my friend Paul had video taken in May time I believe doing red run in Les Gets, the snow had cleared and the track had been sorted..very smooth..no braking bumps..but everyone had thick sweatshirts on and it looked freezing..this was all unofficial..no lifts were running.

Switchbacks near Malaga area does DH stuff all year round i believe, its been mentioned/visited in threads on here.

Weird twist of fate today, anyway was looking at frames again and come across a DMR Bolt, anyone have an info on them ? all the reviews seem to be for a prototype and would be interested in the final product, it kinda ticks all the boxes for me, short travel (150) full suss frame built to ride like a hard tail and a decent price too....

I have to buy new as I want it on 0% just means I can spend a little more! And which ever frame i choose really needs to accommodate the parts off and looking at this it's basically a full suss version of my dialled alpine ! http://shop.upgradebikes.co.uk/Catalogu ... lt-Frame-2

Got to be a catch here somewhere....

I think the catch is the weight. Its a full Cro-mo frame so the frame is over 9 pounds. Nice looking bike though.
