Somethings going to give, i need to hide the expense from the missus......

i've been looking at frames for ever it seems like but the honest truth is i'm skint but getting cabin fever and 0% all over the place is soooooo tempting but what the hell do i replace the Alpine mk2 with ?

I've narrowed it down to:

Transition bottle rocket - get real theses are bloody expensive !

NS Soda FR

Dartmoor Wish

I'm kind of leaning toward the wish as its definitely the underdog, made in the UK, and you just dont see them about much

does anyone have any insight into anything that fits this bill.....

Yeah, I was looking longingly at some dh bikes last night, but can''t justify one as I can only have one bike and my trek Scratch is as much freeride as I can have a bike while still being able to ride xc on it......

you could look 2nd hand and try and save a bit.

I have some Ebay searches saved but they don't offer much to be honest.

I'm only keen on having one bike too, then i can really get to grips with it and know it inside and out (also why i built my bike up)

I'd sacrifice a hard life cycling across a farmers field for an easier life at somewhere like Danbury so i'll build an AM / slope style bike with 150-180 max and just deal with it XC

I think you'll find its n+1 where n represents the number of bikes presently owned which is 2 minimum
