I have seen a bike for sale and its at least £200 quid cheaper than it should be, it also only had one picture on the add these things set some alarm bells ringing.

I have been texting the guy and he seems ok, I asked for more pictures which he has supplied. I have also looked on the bike register and cant see any stolen bike fitting the description.

Does anyone know of any other checks I can do ?

The add does smack of a stolen bike.. "Upgraded disk rotas" hmmm not very knowledgable about that bike or the terminology a proper biker would use to sell there bike...

I'd say that it's at least weird to see that bike for sale on gumtree for that silly money. I believe we all here wouldn't advertise our bikes on that site because there is no audience for that kind of bike, the seller is just looking for a untraceable quick sale, I could be wrong but who got a Voltage FR 20 would also advertise on pinkbike, ebay or similar websites.
