I live on Canvey, these guys fitted my front fork badly, sold my mate a bike that was too small for him, Had a bike in stock and just up'ed the sadle to make him feel it was right , friendly to your face but it's always business. Gripps at Raleigh much better..

Trouble is that these bike shops don't really love us, it is a business and they charge as much as they can. As mtb'ers we all love to ride and it can be an expensive hobby, our rides take a beating especially in the winter months, some times I don't know how she does it week in week out without stripping down mech & shifters but as long as I ride I do t ask any questions...

Really surprised to here about your bad experience with them, honestly not the impression i got from them and im pretty hard ball to deal with.

from my point of view i got a seriously good deal, they were nearly £400 cheaper than Evans wanted and £100 cheaper than the best price i got offered any were else in the country. In fact i couldnt even find a used one cheaper and i did try....

+1
When i bought a bike through cycle scheme, Les first promise me a set price, but when I mentioned work cycle scheme he started crying about losing money and not being able to give me the discount that he promised me. Also I had an old road bike fixed by them and it was not that great. I know it is a business and it is really hard for them with all the Internet shops but they should try to make their customers happy.
