Spec will be:

Flows on Hope hubs
130mm Revelations
XT Brakes
XT 1 by 10 with an expander
Maybe a Thompson dropper if there's room.

I'd keep it for myself if it was a medium

Wow, i hope he appreciates it.
No1 has a super spec on hers but after a off at danbury where she was riding really well, i have only got her back on the bike once since :(
If i'd think she'd use it i'd keep an eye out for a frame like that.

I think he will although tbh it's the same sort of spec as this hardtail so sort of what he's used to. Be interesting to see what he makes of full sus. I wasn't planning on getting him one for a while but just happened to spot this frame up for sale at one of those too good to miss prices.

He had a big crash at Swinley a few years ago.... really knocked his confidence and I think it took the best part of a year to get over it. Difficult when they lose enthusiasm but I think for most kids it does come back ;)

Looks like a sweet ride. Has it been ridden yet?

Only by me around the workshop :D

Given that I use most of the suspension travel just sitting on it it rides pretty damn well

Make sure it's the same colour as the one you have and don't keep both bikes in the same place

   8-) To be honest what I have is perfectly capable of doing what I need. Been looking at parts though and a shiny frame, I want a hub that clicks!

Lol why?
You've got good hubs, quieter is more efficient ;)
