And, for the end of the month, a new wheel set is coming.
With the right set of tyres and a light cassette, the weight should drop "a lot"!

Pictures will arrive soon...

Now I have 1.95Kg for the front and 2.5Kg for the rear. 4.45 total

Lets see:
new wheel set 1,46Kg;
Rotor (ashima arirotor 180mm and a160mm) 200 grams
Schwalbe racing ralph 29"x2.1 585 grams (rear)
Schwalbe rocket ron 29" x 2.25 525 grams (front)
Shimano XT cassette 11-36 330grams
With valve, tape and sealant we are at 3,3Kg

1.15Kg less!

We'll see! :D

Just picked up a new (second hand) trek stache frame, going to be building it up for my brother as a cheap(ish) trail hardtail for his longer rides. I've got my old wheels and fork (from my own stache) that will be donated to the build but will be on the look out for other bits to suit.

Tired of waiting for the elusive single ply 2.5 DHF 27.5 to exsist and I needed some bigger knobs up front so

Doesn't actually state tubeless anywhere, but aired up fine.

I never had these as part my ride kit until my chain snapped over Epping. Luckily someone else did and now I don't think I will go out without them, not like they're heavy :)

Most shops will have them, just need speed persific link. Will still need a chain breaker to remove the old brocken male link

The little multi tool I carry has a chain breaker on it. Just hadn't seen anywhere that sold chain links other than the spare you get when buying a new chain.
